Sweet goodbuy….

So, my iPod gave out on me the other day. In the middle of my workout, it was shutting off and re-starting itself every 30 seconds. I was getting so mad because I rely on that thing to get me through my cardio. So, after the gym, I headed out to walmart to buy me a new one, and of course they are no longer making my older version of the nano (i barely bought it a year ago when they just came out with it…JEEZE!), so I had to buy a new arm band as well (tack on another $20-25) to fit the new shape. When I went to pick one out, I decided I wanted a blue one…but I didn’t want the 8G, so I asked for the 4G in blue. Apparently apple is fine-tuning their marketing techniques because you can’t buy the 4G in anything but boring old silver. So I got a silver nano. I barely use up 1G, I am not going to spend an extra 50 bucks to have my nano in blue. So, after all was said and done, I left walmart $175 poorer than when I walked in. So, this morning I was going through all of the rigamaroll to transfer my songs (yet another way apple tries to make money…making it very difficult to take songs you’ve already purchased and put them on your new device since your old one crapped out on you….let’s see $150 for the first nano + $150 for the new one + $150 to buy all of the songs I already own to put on the new one = apple making $450 off me in 1 year)…when I discover that old pinky (my old iPod) has revived and recovered from it’s previous illness…good thing I saved all the packaging and reciept and am an EXCELLENT re-packager, because this baby is going back to sit on the shelf at Wally World!!!!
